“ Great place, with nice people and it translates into their food. Somebody loved these guys, it's street food but everything here had a home-cooked feel. Frijoles charros had chicharrones in them and the salsa was tasty. I got some birria tacos, and if you don't know what birria is then I can tell you this here is a great example of a Tijuana-style quesabirria or queso taco. Marinated, braised, shredded and very tender beef stuffed in a corn tortilla with Chihuahua cheese then fried on the grill. They hand you your plate, then they give you a small cup of consume that's garnished with onions and cilantro. Now without feeling like I'm cheating you out of a web search here's what you're gonna do. Taste the consume, it's nice, very rich. Take a bite of the taco, you have a good chance of eating one or two just like that but you would be missing something. Then you remember the consume, and "Why did they hand me this?" Separately, on their own, they are perfect but, take a bite of that taco. Expose that melted cheese and beef, then dip it in the consume. Repeat. Happy eating. ”
